Refund Policy
Straight talk: we do not offer cash refunds. All refunds are issued as platform credits. Here's exactly when we issue them and how much.
Subscription
- Founding Member subscriptions are non-refundable once billed.
- Cancel any time in Settings — you keep access through the end of the current billing period.
- Your accumulated credits stay in your wallet for 60 days after cancellation, in case you re-subscribe.
Lead lock refunds
We refund 100% of credits spent on a lead lock if any of the following are verified:
- The property was on-market at the time of lock (verified via MLS/Zillow/Redfin/Realtor.com).
- The trustee or auction data was materially incorrect (wrong opening bid, wrong auction date, wrong trustee).
- The property never existed (data hallucination — extremely rare but we catch it).
- The property is a duplicate of another lead you already have locked.
File a support ticket within 7 days of locking with the specific issue. We review within 2 business days.
What is NOT refundable
- Locks where you simply changed your mind or lost interest.
- Locks where you couldn't reach the owner (bad phone/email is common in distressed-property data).
- Locks where the owner declined to sell, sold to someone else, or the deal fell through.
- Locks on properties that went on-market after the lock started (though we do flip the property's status and hide it from your feed).
- Deposit purchases into your wallet — credits are yours once bought.
SoCalDeals dispo fees
Extra dispo listings beyond the bundled 5/month cost 10 credits each. These credits are non-refundable once the listing is created, even if you withdraw or cancel the listing before receiving offers.
Referral bonuses
$300 referral bonuses (in credits) are issued when a referred Founding Member has been active and paid for 30+ days. If the referred member cancels within that window, the bonus is not issued.
Chargebacks
If you file a payment chargeback with PayPal instead of contacting us directly, your account is immediately suspended pending resolution. We ask that you email support@socalforeclosures.net first — we're humans, we'll usually find a fair outcome.
California residents
California Civil Code §1723 rights apply. If we deny a refund and you believe we're wrong, you can contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs. But start with a ticket first — most disputes resolve without escalation.
